  4. Have you ever wanted to use the automatic spell checker in
  5. Wordworth 7 using the ram disk instead of the hard disk?
  6. Well this simple patch may well be your answer, it will
  7. copy the dictionary to the ram each time you run Wordworth
  8. and will thereby speed up the time required to check the
  9. words. So what's the draw back I here you ask, well, it'll
  10. require an extra 1MB of ram and after each use of
  11. Wordworth, you'll have to click on another icon to update
  12. the files on you're hard disk and to remove the dictionary
  13. from memory.

  18. Then I'll explain how to install this patch. Follow these
  19. simple steps:
  20.  
  21. 1. copy the two icon, "NewWordworth", and, "UpdateInfo",
  22.    to the  same directory that the Wordworth executable
  23.    can be found.
  24. 2. Double click on NewWordworth and let the program start
  25.    up.
  26. 3. Go to the menu and select, "settings", then, "change
  27.    settings", then click on, "spell".
  28. 4. Change the thesaurus and dictionary directories to
  29.    ram:spell.
  30. 5. Click on, "OK", and close the other window, finally go
  31.    to the menu again and select, "settings", then,
  32.    "save settings".
  33. 6. Then quit.

  37. How do I use wordworth now?
  38. ===========================

  40. Well each time you want to use wordworth, double click on
  41. the NewWordworth icon and once you've quit out of the
  42. program you must then click on the UpdateInfo icon in order
  43. to save any dictionary changes.

  45. If you use a launch program, you'll have to select the new
  46. icon and if there's an option to run a script, then select
  47. that. But remember to run the other icon afterwards.
